Delete Account

Guest

How do i delete my account? I don't have any subscriptions. I went to https://www.adobe.com/privacy/privacy-contact.html and under "Other Privacy Questions Not Listed Above", I clicked "Click to begin", I filled out the information, got a code, under "Request Type", I clicked "Account or personal information deletion", clicked next and I got this.

I clicked the "these instructions" link and it told me to go to https://account.adobe.com/privacy, click "Data and privacy setting" and scroll down to "Delete Adobe Account" under "Connected Apps" but I don't see that option. "Connected Apps" is the last thing on the page.

Hi @Deleted User

We appreciate you reaching out. I confirm that you do not have any active or trial subscription associated with this account. Ideally the option to delete account should be hidden like this. Did you try following the steps using a different web browser?

Let us know.

That didn't work, but under "your plan" in my account, I found this. Don't know if this is the problem.

Under "Account Information and Access", I don't see any orginizations. I just see Account Name, Primary email (Adobe ID), Mobile phone, Secondary email, and Support phone. There's no orginizations listed.

I never knew I had a plan. I'd like to remove it because I think that's why I can't delete my account but I don't know how to remove it.

you have to cancel it.

make sure you're aware of the cancellation terms by selecting your plan type (at the top of the page here), https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/creative-cloud-subscription-terms.html

and for info on how to cancel your subscription, this page describes the few steps involved, https://helpx.adobe.com/manage-account/using/cancel-subscription.html

p.s. if you're contacted by anyone (via email or private message), it's much more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative.

if you're unable to follow the steps described, you'll need to await help from an adobe employee for the next step.  (if you don't get a reply here from a badged employee within 24 hours, repost.)

I went in Plans in my account and it said i have no plans, then I went to https://adminconsole.adobe.com/ and I saw I had "Acrobat Services: PDF Services API" under "All products and services". I selected it, clicked "Delete profiles" but it doesn't delete.

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
