I am creating Adobe CC apps installation packages using the CC Packager. The package contains both an MSI file and a Setup.exe file in the Build folder. Can someone tell me which I should be using and why? I have read that I cannot install Acrobat DC if it is in the package if I execute the MSI file. Most of my packages will contain Acrobat and I will have to use Setup.exe for those packages, but I wanted to be sure that I was not missing something by not running the MSI file. We tried running the MSI file on one computer and the package would not install. In this case, we received a conflict error (unspecified).
Is it necessary to uninstall older versions of Adobe products before installing new versions using the packager?
Thanks for your assistance.
You don't have to uninstall before installation for most applications, you can do that later if you like. Some need to have multiple versions installed and this normally works ok. The big exception used to be Acrobat but that should now be ok as well.

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, the link does not address my question.

Acrobat has its own MSI file and the setup.exe runs both the Acrobat and CC 'build' MSI.
You can run both MSI files separately if you prefer.
The installation will not uninstall the older version.

Thanks. Some of our computers have older versions of Photoshop and Illustrator installed? Will we need to uninstall these before installing Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC using the package install? If not, will the older versions continue to work? Thanks.
