Question

disable saving in the cloud - impossible?

Hello,

in our company we are using Creative Cloud for Teams. The problem is, that by default the saving/sync is enabled for all users.

Is there any possibility to disable the saving in the cloud, globally for the PC, by GPO, Registry ....?

Maybe by blocking specific URLs in the Proxy server?

Or is it simply impossible to disable this globally?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi,

For CC for Teams it is not possible to 'turn off' storage and services, for CC Enterprise it is.

To control the access to storage and services within your network see http://wwwimages.adobe.com/www.adobe.com/content/dam/Adobe/en/devnet/creativesuite/pdfs/ControllingSvcAccess.pdf and https://helpx.adobe.com/content/dam/help/attachments/Creative_Cloud_for_enterprise_Service_Endpoints.pdf

    Hello,

thank you very much for your answer! So either we need the Enterprise license or we need to disable (based on the document) the URLs

    scproxy-prod.adobecc.com

    *.adobesc.com

    cc-collab.adobe.io

    cc-api-cp.adobe.io

But this seems to work only for the applications After Effects CC, Dreamweaver CC, Illustrator CC, InDesign CC, Muse CC, Photoshop CC and Premiere Pro CC.

How is it working for the other products which are included?

Is it possible to switch from the Team license to the Enterprise license? If yes, is it possible to disable completely the Cloud access for all users and all products?

Thank you very much for your help!

    Hi,

Note also the following from here Creative Cloud for teams frequently asked questions

There is no way to centrally disable access to Creative Cloud storage. Any end users who have access to the web via a browser have the ability to store their files in the cloud. However, if users are on a corporate network and using company-administered machines, the following network calls can be blocked via the organization's firewall, thereby blocking use of storage while on the
network:

    https://creative.adobe.com/api/collectionso

    https://creative.adobe.com/api/shareo

Yes, you can switch from teams to Enterprise and this does give you the ability to have all storage and services removed for your users.
