Installation of Adobe Creative cloud Illustrator keeps failing error code 6. Already tried repairing VC++ and still no. Log file attached

Hello,

Kindly try this workaround by disabling the following reg entry and restart the machine. HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Security_HKLM_only REG_DWORD.

Looks like the same issue we have.

New created Packages FRL with internal Licensing Server.

 

Every Package with same error Code 6.

Looks like an issue with the Bootstrapper (DeploymentManager)

The Bootstrapper Process return code is (-60).Stopping the installation process.

What are the implications of changing this policy?


Security Zones: Use only machine settings | Windows security encyclopedia (windows-security.org)

The Key represents a Group Policy. Means, you could leave the key, it will be rewriten bei the Client side Group Policy refresh. Clients usualy refresh Group Policy every 90 minutes anyway.
