ERROR: DW040 when installing CC

New Here ,
Nov 11, 2014 Nov 11, 2014

Hi,

Attempting to install CC from a package created with CCP.

This same package has been successfully deployed on several other machines without a problem.

The machine giving the error had the initial installation interrupted. Looking through the logs the process is assuming "uninstall mode" before exhibiting the DW040 code. I've used the CC Cleaner Tool to remove the previous install and this has reported success, however subsequent attempts to reinstall continue to fail.

Here is the installer log (most recent entry):

Please search the above error/warning string(s) to find when the error occurred.

These errors resulted in installer Exit Code mentioned below.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Exit Code: 33 - The product is not installed, cannot uninstall.

Please see specific errors and warnings for troubleshooting. For example, ERROR: DW040 ...

There are previous versions of CS incumbent on the machine, but the user requires them to be used in tandem with CC so I'd prefer not to have to uninstall them if possible.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Ben
