I can't seem to update my CC Indesign and I can't find a specific CC InDesign error thread so I am posting here.

Exit Code: 126

are you using the cc desktop app to install id?

do you have a subscription?  if yes, individual, enterprise, edu, team?

is cc 2015 installed and you're trying to upgrade to cc 2017?

Yes using Creative Cloud Desktop (Windows 7, Dell Inspiron 15)

InDesign 2015 is installed and updated and it still launches (just double checked)

My subscription is up to date

I was upgrading to 2017 which is how I hit the error.

update your os, or check to make sure you have win 7, sp 1.  that's the oldest compatible os.
