Firefly training of custom models

Does anyone have any information or experience with training custom models in Firefly?

Adobe has a link discussing it on this page, with very little information:
https://helpx.adobe.com/firefly/using/customize-a-firefly-model.html

It looks like it could be very useful for our team, but it would require us to upgrade from an Adobe Teams account to an Adobe Enterprise account. We're willing to do that, but we need more information and/or a demonstration.

The Adobe Sales team refers us to Adobe Expert support. However, since we only have a Teams account we can not access Adobe Expert support for Enterprise. The Adobe Teams Expert support then refers us to Adobe Sales and we go around again.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

While I have never heard about the company size minimum, we have the same issue when it comes to getting clear answers on the Custom Models program.  We have heard about the Enterprise add-ons required and the pricing - but didn't want to go through the experience of paying first, then being disappointed about what is really working.

For anyone reading here, the equivalent in this space is working with Lora models or Video Loras (look around and you will see a few players in this space).  I'd expect the same approach within Adobe Firefly.  The key however to working with Custom Models or Lora models is that any data used to train Custom Models needs to be cleared for rights.  While you can generate just about anything, you cannot publish anything generated without the underlying data rights or publishing rights.

Adobe is probably the most ethical company on the planet when it comes to this, so would likely be our collective best partner if we can get this figured out!

I doubt whether you'll get a clear answer on the Custom Models program outside of the main features page at this time. Considering the pre-requisite is you need to be an Enterprise customer to start, I doubt sales will spend time answering questions if are not already committed at that level.

I'm currently going through the same experience.  It is absolutely mind blowing as I could not have been more specific about the adobe firefly train custom models being the MAIN factor in why I was going enterprise during my video call with a sales member.   I don't have the energy to explain how insane it's been trying to gain access to this feature over the past month, but if it's not being done intentional that is equally mind blowing.  It's the biggest run around I've ever been on and like Danny, I love adobe, but this is an enormous red flag with more behind it.

Seems to be major issue with Adobe.  I have customers interested in this program and sales teams don't appear to be authorized to sell the Custom Models Program even if you upgrade.

@jeff_7125 are your customers existing Enterprise contracts?

@kprinceWork this is brand new to all of us and I highly doubt an Adobe Community Expert would know more than the Sales team. The only thing I do know from an Enterprise standpoint is this is a cost-addition to an existing Enterprise contract.

Did you try requesting more information via the link provided here?

More info on this. Our company has reach out to Adobe sale and interal support team over and over again. And we are being throw to the teams back and forth.

Once we were being told that we need to upgrate our account to enterprise plan and the service should come with it both Adobe Express AI and FireFly custom model AI.

Once we were being told we add additional contract add on plans so we have to contact our seller.

Once we were bring told the reason we can get the lisence is because they found out there is a bug on our account, throw us to IT team.

And NOW FINALLY we are assigned to a new account manager and being told that this BOTH AI licenses are only qualify with company that has 100+ users.

After all the, over a month this is the result come out from Adobe company.  Not to say nobody take responsbility on solving the problem but throwing us around. There is no where says on Adobe website that this license is only quality to 100+ user company.  If so why Adobe, you asked us to upgrade our account.. VERY VERY disappointed!!!

@Yiping24426341bphk at any point were you asked how many users you had before discussing contracts or sales? All of this is suspect - Our company was told outright that Firely Gen Studio and custom AI training models were an add-on to our contract. Enterprise is a 100 user threshold. All of this should have been discussed/disclosed upfront by the Adobe Sales team. Were you dealing directly with Adobe or a reseller?
