Adobe Admin Console Domain Managementexpand image

We’re excited to roll out powerful new updates that make managing Frame.io users and automating workflows easier, smarter, and more secure — all through the Adobe Admin Console!

Manage Frame.io Users Seamlessly with Adobe Admin Console

Eligible Frame.io accounts can now manage users with a single Adobe identity, providing a unified and streamlined experience across all Adobe products and services.

Who’s Eligible?

  • Frame.io Enterprise accounts created on or after October 15, 2024
  • Frame.io Team plans purchased via our telesales team
  • Organizations not using the Global Admin Console
  • Existing Frame.io V4 Enterprise customers (contact your Adobe account team for migration details)
  • Legacy V3 Enterprise customers must first upgrade to V4 before moving to Admin Console

Key Features

User Management Flexibility
Depending on your organization's needs, you can manage users individually, through bulk CSV uploads, or via automated syncs.

Frame.io User Roles at Your Fingertips

Assign roles directly through Admin Console:

  • Content Admin: Access all public Workspaces/Projects, manage permissions
  • Member: Access only assigned Workspaces/Projects

Detailed permissions within each Workspace and Project are still managed inside Frame.io for maximum flexibility. Click here to learn more.

Introducing Server-to-Server (S2S) API for Frame.io

Frame.io now supports Server-to-Server (S2S) connections through the Adobe Developer Console, allowing you to securely integrate Frame.io into your existing tools and automate workflows — without consuming user licenses!

Why S2S Integration Matters

  • Create a Service Account to perform API actions like uploads, comments, and more.
  • Service Accounts do not count against your user seat limits.
  • Automate high-volume or repetitive workflows safely and efficiently.

Getting Started is Simple

  • Become a Developer in the Admin Console.
  • Create a new project in Adobe Developer Console.
  • Add the Frame.io API with Server-to-Server Authentication.
  • Generate access tokens to power your automation!

Pro Tip: Service Accounts have their own technical email IDs and are easily trackable inside Frame.io and the Developer Console.
