We are currently on FRL licensing model. we have around 32k installations for Acrobat STD / PRO in our organization. however license consumption / number showing double than no.of installations in admin console.
can you please let me know if any one has come up with this issue and how to deactivate dead installations
For the Admin Console to reflect the correct number, the licenses need to be deactivated. If the apps were uninstalled without deactivation the number can be off. You can use the Licensing tool kit to deactivate the licenses. Take look at the following document and see if it helps. https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/adobe-licensing-toolkit.html#update-license-usage
The licensing toolkit commands need to be run on the client computers. So if you're unable to access those machines or do not have access to the older installations, I'm not sure if there is a way to fix the license count. Please contact your Account Manager or open a support case.
Thanks for your reply. does the above scenario works even if the hard disk is crashed or OS re-installed? we have this cases mostly.
