Global Acrobat Deployment and Licensing

Hi,

We are a company with offices in many countries around the world with Acrobat users. I roughly recall in previous global companies, we would have volume licensing (EA, CLP or TLP) so we could have 1 deployment package with 1 license key and distribute/manage it globally. Then just request additional licenses globally through the 1 reseller.

We are now being pushed to go through Adobe resellers for each region we wish to license and deploy Acrobat. Will this mean we will still be able to license under 1 key/package or need one per region?

What is the best and simplest way to manage this globally?

Thanks!

Micka_007,

The Adobe Licensing for most products is now ETLA (Enterprise Term Licensing Agreement).  The Acrobat installer is now MUI (Multiple User Interface) or multple language installer as Rave states so it IS one installer.  The other thing that HAS CHANGED is the serial numbers.  The Serial Numbers are regional UNLESS you get an ALL LANGUAGE serial number.  You will need to discuss this with your Sales Account Representative on how you want to approach your Acrobat installations.

Hi Micka_007,

From Acrobat 11 onwards the installer package is the same for all regions/ languages. So you should not face any problems creating the package.
