Global Acrobat Deployment and Licensing

Hi,

We are a company with offices in many countries around the world with Acrobat users. I roughly recall in previous global companies, we would have volume licensing (EA, CLP or TLP) so we could have 1 deployment package with 1 license key and distribute/manage it globally. Then just request additional licenses globally through the 1 reseller.

We are now being pushed to go through Adobe resellers for each region we wish to license and deploy Acrobat. Will this mean we will still be able to license under 1 key/package or need one per region?

What is the best and simplest way to manage this globally?

Thanks!

Who is pushing? You should be able to get a v lic and use the mui installer on any machine around the world.

We were told by our Adobe reseller that we need to purchase the license from a regional reseller for the country we are wanting to deploy in. This means we need to open up a new vendor in the finance system and have another contact. It just complicates the request and management process.

Interested how you manage this. Do you just have 1 reseller who handles all your adobe licensing requests globally or do they pass you to their local suppliers? There are no licensing implications for deploying this across regions? I'm certain this is how previous global companies have managed but not sure if its updated adobe licensing policies or they have their facts wrong.
