Guest account access for Adobe Products

At the office we have people using multiple machines for different products.  The problem is that they are saving their data locally when they shouldn't be and we trying to find a way to make it so that it would clear any temporary data that was left behind.  We have already made it so that their save data pushes to their network drives but we are encountering an odd problem.

We wanted them to have, essentially, guest profiles so that Windows would clear all of the temporary data when the user logged out of the computer but when we would do this it would prompt the user to log into their own Adobe account for the rights to use the program.  Obviously since we are using a business license that covers all of our systems this is a problem.

Has anyone ever seen this before and maybe have a resolution? Or maybe something like this?

Kteckie which Adobe software or service is your inquiry in reference to?  Also what type of environment are you using the Adobe applications?  You mentioned Windows guest profiles.

Mostly for Photoshop and Premiere. It is predominately Windows 8.1 but very rarely the programs are on a Windows 7 computer.  Also it is Adobe CS6 programs.  Sorry for forgetting to add that all in.

Thank you for the update Kteckie.  If the individual has a local User account they do not face any licensing errors or a need to enter the serial number correct?

Will guest accounts have access to write to shared locations outside of the User folder?

Under the normal settings there is no licensing issues.  Essentially we are setting up there accounts to save any temp data to the computer and then save the actual files to their share drives.  Mostly so that on a log out it will delete the extra information that is not needed anyways.

I know it's odd, but this is the setup the higher ups want so we are trying to figure it out and have hit a bit of a wall.

Hi Jonathan,

Please use Adobe provisioning toolkit enterprise edition to license these applications. Make sure you use --stream switch while using the licensing command. visit the link below for more info on PRTK licensing and stream switch.
