I cannot install Acrobat Pro (64-bit, Win 10 Enterprise) on my computer via Creative Cloud.
Tested to install via https://documentcloud.adobe.com/link/tools/ > Adobe Acrobat Pro DC but it only displays a grey page, with a line drawing of a computer, stating that Acrobat DC is being installed.,, and then Reader is launched. So what happened to Pro? 🙂
I have Adobe Acribat Reader installed already - Is this causing the problem? Should you not be able to have both Pro and Reader installed on your PC? I have repaired the Creative Cloud via the uninstall.zip file which did not help at all. Illustrator and Photoshop could be installed without any issues. So what have I missed regarding Pro?
acrobat is included with the all apps subscription.
uninstall reader and then check your cc app. you may need to restart your computer after uninstalling reader.

you should be installing from your cc desktop app (assuming you have an all apps subscription).

Hi,
Thank you and yes, but unfortunately I could not find the Acrobat Pro there, Thus I tested another page.
It only says Acrobat DC and it opens Reader. I have managed to install Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. But where is Pro lurking? 🙂 I thought it was included in the package alongside the already mention programs + Lightroom, Bridge, Dreamweaver, Animate, XD, etc. but perhaps not then. Odd but maybe you need to buy Acrobat Pro separately for some reason.

Hi,
Thank you 🙂 I uninstalled Acrobat DC via All programs in Creative Cloude Desktop. Then. I installed it again and lo and behold, now Pro is launched and not Reader. A huge thank you for your help!

Hi,
Just a comment...unfortunately it installed 32-bit instead of 64 so I cannot use it anyhow *sigh*.
