Licensing

Hi everyone

I have been researching downgrade rights ( if any) for the new cloud based licenses, so far though I have not managed to find anything.

I have two questions regarding the licensing of Cloud based products which I hope someone can help with as follows,

  • If users have installed the new Acrobat Professional DC, can I use the Cloud based subscription licenses I have available for Acrobat XI to cover the new DC edition, (as they are subscriptions, latest edition allowed)
  • If I have 100 Acrobat Professional XI, Creative Cloud subscription licenses available can I cover a perpetual Acrobat Professional X installs with this licence.

As I work in the licensing industry moving forward any advice on how best to track these new cloud based installs to ensure all is compliant  and pointers to any documentation for downgrade rights would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

    • Ans. You can use the DC pro DC from CC as it will be auto-upgraded
