I'm a little frustrated here and could really use some complete, competent guidance.
Adobe claims the overwhelming majoriity of their applications are M1 / Apple Silicon-native. This, to anyone with reading comprehension skills, reads as the entire experience can be completed on an M1 Mac. After research, it seems that actually is not the case, since the recommended installation method - the global CC App - does not actually run on Apple Silicon.
In an attempt to be clever, I requested an offline package via online chat support, but even that - somehow - still requires Rosetta. I am at a loss as to how a simple installer script has failed this for over a year of Adobe products being "native".
I ask someone on the Adobe team to please provide complete technical instructions on how to execute whatever is necessary to get Illustrator (as a direct example) fully and properly installed without the use of the broken installer.
[Note that Rosetta is NOT an adequate workaround, stepping stone, or 'necessary evil'. It is a legacy layer that introduces unnecessary bloat to the OS. None of the applications should have been released without such a basic aspect being addressed.]
Thank you in advance.

That's how it is. One day Adobe may get the message and convert the rest of the apps, but frankly there is much more important work to be done. Did you know that the M1 Native Photoshop is missing loads of basic functions like editing videos? Every day people are queuing up to find out what is wrong with that, because Adobe haven't even added pop up hints about the problem (though they are happy enough to fill apps with adverts for new features - someone seems to be in charge of making sure there is no help on missing or changed features).

I'd say that being able to install the software is at least equal importance with missing featuresets. Doesn't matter what Photoshop *can* do if M1 Mac users cannot actually install the software to begin with (without the aforementioned bloat).
If an Adobe developer representative cannot provide installation steps or scripts that don't rely on x86 executables, I'll have to cancel and seek a refund, since I'm very literally unable to utilize the service.
