In late July, Adobe released the Global Admin Console.
Adobe built the Global Admin Console for large and complex customers that have many Adobe organizations in their environment, each utilizing an Adobe Admin Console to manage Adobe users & resources, and are seeking a better way to manage across them.
Adobe recognizes that large and complex organizations bring unique challenges. For example, the IT department at a multinational corporation wants visibility into the total software investment, administration, usage across geographies or departments. These insights coupled with an ability to redistribute resources in a self-service fashion, empowers IT to manage resources more efficiently.
The IT department at a large school district or consortium needs to establish policy and procedure to ensure that certain operations are accomplished consistently across teams or schools. Fortunately, the Global Admin Console enables IT to set and optionally lock policies to support this effort.
The IT department at a large government agency needs to allocate products to individual branches while enabling the local IT department to meet their unique needs. With the Global Admin Console, IT can divide product resources while delegating administration to local departments which remain isolated.
These examples highlight a few ways in which the Global Admin Console provides admins with transparency and control while managing Adobe resources and users across a complex and distributed enterprise.
