Photoshop Elements 10 Windows 10 serial number problem

Everytime I open my Adobe Photoshop 10, it asks for a serial number, which I dutifully provide. It gets a check mark. When I hit continue, it asks for it again. ad infinitum

Driving me crazy--problem just started today.

I would recommend uninstalling the product, running the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool and reinstalling.
