As an individual, I can add up to 10TB of storage to my ACC plan.  But Teams has a hard-limit for 1TB of shared storage (+ 1TB of private storage).  Please add the ability to buy more shared storage space in Teams.

Hi @LKN Images LLC,

Thank you for reaching out.

At this time, Creative Cloud for Enterprise and Teams customers cannot purchase additional storage beyond what is included with their subscription. However, both Adobe Teams and Enterprise plans now offer improved storage flexibility through a pooled storage model, where all user quotas are combined and shared across the organization.

This updated model allows users to exceed their individual storage limits as long as the organization’s total storage allocation is not surpassed. Previously, storage was allocated per license, which limited flexibility. With pooled storage, those who require more space can utilize unused storage from others within the team.

Additionally, I will forward your request to the relevant team for review. Thank you for your valuable feedback and for helping enhance the Adobe product experience.

Please let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi @LKN Images LLC,

Thank you for following up — this is a really important distinction, and you're absolutely right to seek clarity before making another switch. I'm also sorry to hear about your past experience.

As mentioned earlier, the new pooled storage model allows users to exceed their individual storage limits as long as the organization’s total storage allocation is not surpassed. Previously, storage was allocated per license, which limited flexibility. With pooled storage, users who need more space can now utilize unused storage from others within the same team.

Regarding your current workflow:

As Jane also mentioned,

On an individual plan, as you pointed out, you and your lead photographer are sharing access by logging into the same Adobe ID. While this may provide a unified experience, it's important to note that individual plans are licensed for use by one person only. Sharing your Adobe ID is not permitted under Adobe’s licensing terms. You can read more about this policy here:
🔗 Adobe Account Sharing Policy

With an Adobe Teams plan, each user has their own Adobe ID, even though the storage is pooled. This means:

  • Each user’s Lightroom (cloud) library is tied to their individual Adobe ID.

  • While storage is shared across the organization, Lightroom libraries are not automatically shared across users.

  • To collaborate, you would need to manually share albums or use shared workflows within Lightroom.

For more information about collaboration and library access with Teams storage, you can refer to this guide:
🔗 Libraries in Business Storage

I hope this helps clarify things. If you have further questions or need additional assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

^AN

Very glad that I asked the follow-up because what you are describing is not at all useful to my company.

So back to my original feature request: Please come up with a way to purchase additional shared storage under Adobe Teams.  Having to manually share is not a good solution for many organizations like ours where we want all users to have full access to the entire library.
