Re: Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop app

Seems to be AdobeUpdater.Overrides.xml file that causes the problem when Creative Cloud Desktop starts.

When I rename or delete that file so its not used Creative Cloud Desktop works as usual.

 

When I run RemoteUpdateManager.exe wtih AdobeUpdater.Overrides in place it works and get its updates from internal Adobe update server so AdobeUpdater.Overrides.xml is working with RemoteUpdateManager.exe as it should.

 

It has been working with older versions of Creative Cloud Desktop before, it seems just to be the latest version 5.8.0.592

 

Something for the bug department at Adobe;-)

    1. if you have a teams/enterprise subscription, you're posting in the wrong forum.

    2. if you need the correct cc desktop installer, use the "alternative download links" at the bottom of the page at https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/creative-cloud-desktop-app-download.html
