Hello,

We are running into the same problem. Creative Cloud is forcing an update to version 4.7 and it fails at 42%. I was able to find the off-line install, but it is for version 4.6 still.

Uninstalling and reinstalling on all my team workstations is not an option. Is there a URL where 4.7 can be downloaded?

Is there another work-around to avoid uninstalling and reinstalling?

Thank you.

    Hello Jeff,

Thank you for your reply. However, it still does not solve the problem.

You mention that the update was released for individual members.. why then does it affect Teams?

You also mention that we are in a restricted network and our organization uses CC Packager to deploy updates.  … I am the systems admin and I can (and did) bend the network as needed to solve the problem (disable firewalls, open firewall ports, open URLs, etc) with no luck. We do not use CC packager for deployments.

Last, you say Team will have the update soon... We have gone through this before. Last time I Support ended up providing me a hidden URL where I could download the latest off-line version of CC and that solved the problem. I am sure there is a way we admins can download the same version as the one being forcibly installed by the App if Adobe would update the download page prior to force updates via the App.

For the record, I contacted Support almost 24 hrs ago and I am still waiting for a call back. In the mean time, my Team cannot use the Adobe applications as it is intended.

Any way you can post a URL where we can download CC ver 4.7 directly?

From today version 4.7 of Creative Cloud Desktop App can be packaged from the Creative Cloud Packager or Admin Console packaging tab.

    Branching to a new discussion.

Orange County Ar53692272, what type of Creative Cloud membership did your organization purchase?  If you have a Creative Cloud for Team or Enterprise membership, then please wait until the update is available within the  Creative Cloud Packager.

    Hello there,

We have the Creative Cloud for Teams.

What? Wait until the update is available within the CC Packager? I assume the update is already available as it wants to install already. That is the nature of the problem. The update seems to be mandatory and it has all my team down as the update is failing and they cannot just ignore the update.

Do you have a better way to proceed and solve the problem?

    Thank you.
