Hi Bani Verma,

I am crazy about to find solution to my problem.

I have installed CS5.5 Design Premium on Windows 7.

Now while still installed CS5.5 I want to install Adobe CS6 Master Collection.

But instalation of CS6 fails with message "Installer failed to initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem".

When I go to download Adobe Support Advisor there is this message: The Adobe Support Advisor has been discontinued. Visit Adobe Support section.

On the Adobe Support section I was sent to Forums.

On the forums is not solution for my problem.

I need to comm with some people, not with web pages without any solution.

Please help me!

Peter Juriga

    Thanks Bani,

    I will wait for solution.

It looks like that previous version (CS 5.5) when instaled on computer causes trouble with installing newer CS6.

I have a few years old not actualised and almost clean intallation of Windows 7 in separate partition of disc of the same PC. It is without any Adobe applications. When I tryed to instal CS6 there, it worked!

So it looks like, from clean system it works. But I cannot completely erase Win 7, install everything from scratch and spend with it a week of installation of all my graphic software and environment.

There must be way how to have old CS 5.5 installed on PC for safety work till new CS6 will be completely ready.

    Again thanks for help.

You can clean up old installations of Adobe software using the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool.

Use the Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems
