When I try to use Remove Tool (on a lab Mac computer) in the universities network, I get the following error message.
"Required components are being downloaded. Check back later to use the tool once the download is complete"
Any assistance would be helpful.
@Sameer K Enterprise is handled differently than individual installs. The admins have to add the Remove tool add-on to the deployment package and distribute.

Hi @GRAPHICPROF talk to your IT Admin - they did not install the component add-on when creating the installer package from the admin console.

Thank you. I suspected it was an install problem or incomplete install. I will put in a help ticket to IT.

Hey @GRAPHICPROF. Welcome to the Photoshop community. I'll help you figure this out.
What version of Photoshop & the macOS are you working on? What troubleshooting steps have you tried?
The components for the Remove tool are downloaded right after Photoshop is downloaded. As an essential step, uninstall & reinstall Photoshop.
If this does not help, ensure Photoshop has required permissions on the macOS: https://community.adobe.com/t5/photoshop-ecosystem-discussions/learn-how-to-give-full-disk-access-to...
Thanks!

As of yet, I have not tried anything as IT locks down the labs. On my university issued laptop, this works fine. It is problably an incomplete install. Thanks.

It was an IT restriction.

Hi, do you know what the restriction was? I am also struggling with this issue but haven't found anything yet

Hi @Abigail269011859otg in the Adobe Admin Console the IT admin has to enable the additional downloads when creating the deployment package.

They told me that it was a beta element and would not install until it became a finalized/stable piece.

@GRAPHICPROF They are wrong. Remove tool is not a beta element - it is available in the public release but requires a separate download to install components, much like installing a plugin.

I suspected as much. Unfortunately, I do not have control over the installation.
