Shared Libraries - Changing permissions within Admin/Enterprise

Good day,

We currently have a company wide general access folder for all our shared libraries, and as such every user in the enterprise can access any asset from the libraries they need - A fantastic feature.

However a concern has been raised that unrestrained access many not be overly beneficial and a query to lock away some libraries to a by request or more controlled state- is this possible to do?

Either by moving current shared libraries away from general access, or applying restricted permissions to child folders within the shared folder structure?

Cheers

Tom

Hi @Tom284953625tmp We use shared Enterprise libraries as well.

I know you can change the access to invited users by going to assets.adobe.com and then in the library, Share/Invite and you can edit the list of existing users access including removing them. However, if you sent out a public link - you'll need to remove the link to restrict or rebuild access.

These pages walk you through how to change the link access:

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/share.html

https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/remove-shared-links.html

Lastly you cannot restrict child folders in a Library - permissions are at the top level library.

open the support tab on your admin console > start chat or start case or request expert session. https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/support-and-expert-services.html

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post if it helps you get responses.
