Syncing Files With Adobe Teams

Contributor ,

Hello. I have my own CC account that I use for my own use. I work for a company the has created an Adobe CC Teams account that I need to use to access and work on their files. I use CC desktop to work on my files that are synced to the Cloud. I tried logging out of my account and then logging in to the new Teams account from the Adobe CC Desktop app. I tried syncing, but it says that CC is unable to sync. No reason why. Can I use my existing CC Desktop app, keeping my own files on my computer and also log into the new Teams account to access the files for that account separately? So I need to be able to use both accounts on my computer depending on which I am logged into. Let me know what the issue is that I might be having. Thank you!

The cloud files are generally linked with the account which you used to sync. If the new license has cloud storage and using the same applications then it should sync the files under the new account. You might have to check the settings if you are using it on a new/different machine. If the files are saved locally then you can access those with the new account anytime.

Invitations have to come from the 'owner' to particular Adobe accounts. You would sign in to the CC Desktop app with that account. This is supposedly pretty rock-solid.

And yes, if they sent you an invite to your own personal Adobe ID, you could then access the Team Project from that account.

I accepted the invitation and was able to log in, but I can't sync files to my desktop. It just says Unable to sync". I thought maybe the fact that the files from my other account are already in my Adobe Cloud Files folder on my computer could be the problem, but not sure.
