trying to register my adobe photoshop cs6 on volume site (was purchased through a vendor, february 2013). why can't I register it?

why can't I register my adobe photoshop cs6 that Ipurchased in 2013?  I did after I purchased it and since then my pc crashed, had to reload and have had issues, mainly 15 different languages show up in my files.  How do I receive updates?????
