Two user accounts on same Mac

I am using two different accounts on my Mac: one for work and one for personal projects. How can I use my CreativeCloud apps on both (using the same Adobe ID).

I can see CC updater icon with shortcuts to the apps on Mac menubar in one of my accounts, but not another one.

    Programs need only to be installed once. When you sign out of one account and sign in into the other, you can continue using the programs that are licensed for this Adobe id.

    The "only" problem is cloud file synchronisation, as each id has it's own cloud space.

    Incredibly, rather than fix this issue, Adobe found a way to make this experience even more confusing and frustrating. All users need is the ability to use products they've purchased and use them simultaneously, regardless of the license's source. Adobe, how can you not prioritize a solution to this simple desire? Unbelievable. 

     

    You can see the new login experience in the video on this page. This is being rolled out to enterprise customers now. I literally cannot believe how out of touch this company is.

      Not sure if this is still releveant but yes you can.

       

      I have two accounts on my Mac. One is my work account as I work from home two days a week and the other account is my personal account. I use my Adobe ID on both accounts and it's works fine, when you log off one Mac user account and login to another Mac user account it will ask you to sign back in to Creative Cloud. Everything syncs fine. 


      People saying merge both accounts into one account or use a separate machine for your work account  are really not helpful and not a solution.

        I disagree; this does not work fine. If you have an Acrobat subscription through work and a personal Photoshop subscription, you can't use them both at once.

        Jwildman, what you say is indeed poor, but it’s the exact opposite of the problem everyone else has been discussing.

        It blows my mind that Adobe doesn't allow multiple account login. It is 2019 afterall and we know it should be well within the technical realm of possibility. I also have 1 personal account I use for photgraphy, and 1 employer provided work account for Acrobat and such; i.e: two different email addresses. Logging in and out of each account is cumbersome and also runs me into issues of cloud syncing. It is also limiting from being able to work in multiple apps at one time. Can we just get back to the old ways and be able to log into each app independently vs. signing into all apps via the CC app?

          I would be inclined to use 2 separate devices.  One for personal and another for professional work.

            I don't think what you want to do is possible

            When you log in as A you may use what A owns

            You then need to log out of your A account and log in as B to use what B owns

            I am afraid I have not phrased my question correctly. I do not need to share the data between the accounts. But I would like to be able to run, say, Photoshop from either account to edit local files for each user.

            In other words, I want to have Adobe applications installed via my Creative Cloud account to be available for both users A and B.

            Then combine everything into one computer user account.
