Hi all,

I am trying to install the Creative Cloud InDesign. A company gave me access to the software. After downloading the files and trying to extract them it always gives me this Ex11 error.

Somewhere in google I found the message, that this error message appears, when a multiple installation is running. I have shut down my computer and started the whole installation again, but had exactly the same message.

Thanks for an advice!

Risli the fact that you are downloading and extracting your installation of InDesign is concerning.  Are you part of a Creative Cloud for Team or Enterprise account?  If not and you instead have an individual membership then please see Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html

If you are part of a Creative Cloud for Team or Enterprise then please work with your I.T. department to troubleshoot the deployment package being provided.

Thats what the CC app does, its not a manual process.

Figured out the issue. Had to install under a user profile with a smaller user name.

This default directory below is apparently too long

    C:\Users\*********\AppData\Local\Temp\{C3761143-227D-4009-A8ED-2C486012585F}\

Fix this adobe! what a goofy error.

    Hi Jrahn88,

    Please follow the below steps:

    1) Quit Adobe creative cloud desktop application.

    2) Click on start button and right click on Properties.

    3) Advanced system settings>> Advanced>> Environment Variables>> Highlight first line item and click on Edit.

    4) Variable Name: TEMP and Variable value: "C:\Temp". Do the same thing for the second line item.

    5) Click Ok and Apply, once done launch Adobe creative cloud and then try to install Indesign once again.

Please let me know if that helps
