I am looking to buy the new MacBook with the M1 Max chip - will apps such as Photoshop, InDesign & Ai still work?

Default, please see https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install/kb/apple-silicon-m1-chip.html for information on using Adobe applications on Apple's new processors.
Please be careful when moving over to the new computer, Default. The biggest mistake we see is people using Apple's migration assistant to move their applications and documents to the new computers. This mainly causes a problem for Adobe applications as the Intel applications and components are copied from one computer to another.
Please focus on using the migration assistant to only move over documents and settings to the new computer to avoid this problem. You can then use the process listed in https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/download-install-app.html to begin the installation process and install the Universal versions of Adobe apps and components.

Yes, Default, all of Apple's new chips are the same chip type.
I am showing that an organization manages your membership. Please make sure you are working with your organization's Information Technology department and the Creative Cloud Plan Administrator before making such a significant update to the computer you are using.

Chip: M1 Pro Max.
NO!
Using creative clouds, I'm unable to dowload the latest version of Premiere, Afterfeects, Photoshop and AI (have no issues downloading Acrobat). I was able to downlaod a few version back of Photoshop but required Rosetta to run. It's a PAIN!
