I am an Adobe Stock contributor. I have an account with Adobe and have free use of Adobe photography plan 20GB for 1 Year (i use PS and Lightroom). In the near future i'm planning to switch from Windows 10 to Windows 11. This will mean upgrading motherboard. Will this change affect my access my Adobe software package? Regards, Bea

Hi @beata_2852,
Thank you for reaching out. As verified, you have an individual Adobe Photography Plan (20GB) associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query.

Hi @beata_2852,
Thank you for reaching out. As verified, you have an individual Adobe Photography Plan (20GB) associated with the Adobe ID used to post this query.

Upgrading your personal computer from Windows 10 to Windows 11, including replacing the motherboard, will not affect your access to your Adobe software. Your Photoshop and Lightroom access is tied to your Adobe account, not your device's hardware. As long as you log in with your Adobe ID, you will be able to continue using your subscription without any issues.

Deactivate from Old Device (If Needed)
Adobe allows activation on two devices at a time. If you reach the activation limit:

Sign out from your old device via Adobe Creative Cloud App:

Navigate to Help > Sign Out

Or manage activations via your Adobe Account

Reinstall Photoshop & Lightroom
After upgrading to Windows 11:

Download and install Adobe Creative Cloud from Adobe’s website

Log in with your Adobe ID to restore access.

Before upgrading, I recommend backing up your presets, catalogs, and actions in Photoshop & Lightroom to avoid data loss.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you need any assistance during the transition.

Regards,
^AN
