Adobe AcroCEF has stopped working

We have 4 identical terminal servers and one is producing this error seconds after opening a PDF.  It occurs with local files and files from a file server.  The error can be minimized and the user can still work with the program.  This happens will all users both admin and non-admin.  Protected View is turned off and we're using Acrobat Standard DC 2015.  Thanks in advanced for your help.

Thanks for responding. I ended up having to reset the permissions on the folder then uninstall and reinstalling the software.

Sorry for the late response.

Are you still experiencing this issue? What is the current dot version installed? Have you tried to check if you have any pending updates?

Also, would you let us know the steps you have already taken to resolve this issue?
