RemoteUpdateManager exiting with Return Code (2) 'Version 2.1.0.11''macOS Sierra 10.12.6'

Even as ROOT and logged into the machine I get this:

    FYI I'm having a similar issue in our environment. macOS 10.12.6, Creative Cloud 2017 with most applications installed.

    Starting on 2017/10/18 at 9:21 AM (-4 GMT) all computers I've checked began showing the following when RemoteUpdateManager is run:

    Downloading (ACR/10.0.0.92/osx10-64) ...

    *** Successfully downloaded (ACR/10.0.0.92/osx10-64) ...

    All Updates downloaded successfully ...

    **************************************************

    *** Installing (ACR/10.0.0.92/osx10-64) ...

    *** Failed to install (ACR/10.0.0.92/osx10-64) ...

    Some Updates failed to install ...

    **************************************************

    Following Updates failed to Install :

    (ACR/9.6/10.0/osx10-64)

    However, all computers have processed all other Creative Cloud 2017 updates successfully.

    We are seeing this same problem. We have a mix of macOS 10.11.6 thru 10.13.4. We're running from the previous update of Adobe 2018 products. they all seem to download, and they all fail at the install - code 2. I gather there's been no word on the source of this issue?

      Folks, a year later still getting the same error. Any ideas? How do we fix?
