Removing Federated ID users via CSV Error

Community Beginner ,
Feb 08, 2021 Feb 08, 2021

Hi all, I have an enterprise account with multiple VIP's all using federated ID's. I'm trying to remove about 14000 users (5000 at a time) from one of the VIP instances. I keep getting the error "Something went wrong: ORG_EXTERNALLY_MANAGED_USER_DELETE".

I'm looking to wipe out the users and reload for next semester. Nothing I try seems to work.

THanks,

Kevin

I removed the directory altogether (which was trusted) and this removed all users. I could then re-add the directory through trusting and then re-upload the users.

I should mention that deleting them one by one works, just not with CSV.

Hello,

I would recommend contacting the support team by creating a case from the admin console and provide the CSV file and the name of the console under which you are trying to remove the users as they might need to check a few more details and settings to troubleshoot the issue.

That is also in progress. They are looking into it.
