Unable to install a patch in Adobe Audition

Hi All,

Can anyone provide a fix to install a patch in Adobe Audition V300 .

The operating system is windows 10 32 bit

The RAM is 4 GB . processor is Intel(R)core (TM)2 Duo CPU E4600@2.40GHz

Error message is

The error message is EX301the audition3.0.1 patch was unable to update your version of audition 3.0 .Please reinstall 3.0 with your  adobe issues serial number and try again .If this does not resolve the problem,please contact Adobe technical support !

Hi,

Audition 3.01 is ten years old so will not have been designed for or tested on current operating systems.

If reinstalling the base Audition 3.0 does not help I would consider upgrading to the current version.
