Two LR Versions on my desktop which are not connected

My problem is, that the LR-Version CC 2015 is still on my computer additional to the LR CC Classic Version. The CC Classic version has opened a new Katalog, which is irc-at 2. When I start an import process, sometimes the fotos are loaded in the LR CC 2015 Version, sometimes in my actual LR CC Classic version with the result that just imported pictures cannot be found the other day when I open LR, because I do not have any control when the old Version is starting to import the pictures. I would like to work with the actual LR CC Classic version only and have all my pictures there in one catalogue. What can I do to reach this result?

Normally the option in the CC desktop app is to Remove the previous versions of Adobe software that is installed when installing a Upgrade. So you must of unchecked that option.

Also I'm not sure how you are opening LR but an icon for each version will only open that version, IE icon for LR CC 2015 will only open LR CC 2015 and an icon for LR Classic CC will only open LR Classic CC.

So find out which icon is for which version and stop using the one for LR CC 2015.

Then use the CC Desktop App to Uninstall LR CC 2015.
