Fireworks CS6 Launch Crash and Update Issue (OSX 10.14.6) & Possible Work Around

Maybe try a clean install with an offline installer *NOTE* Read the download instructions at the top of the page. 

If Fireworks is working OK after a clean install, I would ignore updates via Creative Cloud (and turn off the auto update feature). I dont think Adobe really pays any attention to Fireworks anymore and I personally would not trust any updates via Creative Cloud as Adobe abandoned Fireworks for the most part back in 2013. The forum here is user to user, we try to help each other where we can but we're on our our own I'm afraid, Adobe does NOT want to know about Fireworks.

If Fireworks is the main reason for your Creative Cloud subscription you should let them know.
