Hi, I need to get a adobe fireworks cs6 serial key and haven't been able to find one where would I find one?

    Correct answer Nancy OShea

Fireworks is discontinued and no longer available for single app purchase.  See below for more details.

It's only available via full or student/teacher creative cloud subscritions (enable show old apps in settings). Also if you're a Mac user it won't work on Catalina as there is no 64 bit version.

Other than that you could try to purchase a Fireworks CS6 license second hand, although genuine ones will be very hard to find, I see them on eBay sometimes but doubt if they are genuine. If the eBayer is selling multiple licenses it's fake for sure, if it's a one-off it may be a genuine seller.

Adobe announced EOL (end of life) for Fireworks in 2013, they have been triying to kill it off for a long time and steering users towards other Adobe products, but it hasn't really worked and still has a lot of loyal uses for good reason, but don't hold your breath for a reprieve for Fireworks, I don't think that will ever happen.

Hi, I have the full student/teacher creative cloud account. However before I signed in, I had a trial version of Fireworks. So now, even when I am launching Fireworks from Creative Cloud it is telling me that my trial has ended and asking for a serial number... How do I remove this trial "memory" so that it will launch a "subscribed" Fireworks from the Creative Cloud app? Thanks!

Thank you for your reply Nancy.

I have a lot of legacy Fireworks files and Fireworks really is the perfect tool for what I do.
Very sad that Adobe isn't interested in helping out.
If it is no longer a product for Adobe, then why can't they just create a Licence Generator and make it part of CC so at the very least they get a years subscription from it! (probably fom a lot of people!)  Then we can all go on about our live happily.

    Thank you for your time.

    Regards,

    Nick R.

    Hi,

Photopea can open layered Fireworks PNGs, it is a bit of a Photoshop clone, so if you're familiar with Photoshop it will be easy to pick up.

To get a standalone license will be hard, and whether it would be legit would be another issue,  Fireworks is only available from Adobe now via a Creative Cloud subscription,

Bear in mind if you are on a Mac that Firewoks won't run on Catalina or Big Sur natively, because they do NOT support 32 bit apps, in these instances people have successfully ran the Windows version of Fireworks on a Mac using Parallels Desktop

Fireworks is discontinued and hasn't been sold for 7 years.  Sorry.

Beware of fake Adobe reps who may contact you privately offering to sell you software or take control of your computer. It's a scam, run away!

No longer available officially. The only legal option to access Fireworks for Windows users is to rent the Adobe CC suite. Costly though, if Fireworks is your only interest.
