Downloads repeatedly time out!

I have downloaded the stub program (many times), started the "install" that downloads the actual program...and the download times out every single time!  This is very frustrating.  It happens on my poor little laptop and on my muscle-bound desktop in exactly the same fashion.  I have a high-speed cable 'net connection, so there's no reason for timing out.

Download and run the offline installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/installation-problems-flash-player-windows.html#main-pars_header (under the heading Progress bar hangs...).

OK.  My PC is down for repairs at the moment, so I'll just respond for my laptop and hopefully whatever solution comes up will work on both.

Here is the requested info:

I'm running Win7, 32 bit, build 7601

My browser is Firefox 20.0.1

The Flash Player version (while this has happened many times over the last few YEARS) is Adobe Flash Player 11.7.700.169 for Win 32-bitCapture.JPG

Thank you for the link, Pat.  This has solved the problem!  I now have Flash Player 11 installed on my laptop.   I'm keeping the stub carefully saved in my downloads folder for future use.
