Hi Chris, everybody.
Thanks for offering your email, however it seems my issue with the Mac projector is resolved, the Mac Projector file (stand alone application which includes Flash Player) does work on Macs, i am feeling quite daft about that because, in fact, i was sending the wrong file.
So apologies to Mac and to the forum folks who i misinformed re Mac projectors.
thanks.

hi Chris.
I have a concern regarding an issue to do with Flash Player, in playing swfs on a Mac OS 10.6.8, and embedded in a Mac Projector app. I emailed the swf, Mac projector and an HTML with the swf embedded in it, to the Mac user, with the aim of enabling them to play the swf directly on their computer.
The Mac opened and played the HTML properly, but NOT the projector app at all, and NOR does it play the swf in Flash Player. Rather, it plays it in a Mac application called Elmedia, which has an interface like iTunes, which fully ruins the look of my work.
My major concern is that when the swf is in the stand-alone application known as Mac Projector, the Mac user is fully unable to play it, which eliminates an important mode of viewing, sharing and disseminating my work.
I am asking for help here because no one has replied to my thread on the subject in the Open SWF category of the Flash Forum (http://forums.adobe.com/message/3809968#3809968).
I would appreciate knowing if Apple has eliminated an important asset of CS5 by disabling the stand alone application Mac Projector.
\thanks.

Mac Projector - is that an Apple application, or the Projector from http://www.adobe.com/support/flashplayer/downloads.html ?

A Mac Projector application is like the exe projector that you can create in Flash Pro CS3, CS5 etc, via Publish Settings button in Properties inspector, Formats tab:)

So it is not the Adobe standalone Flash Player (Projector)? Can you use this one to play your local SWF files?

Yes it is Adobe's stand alone app, and yes it did enable playing locally, up
until Apple skewd things for its users, so now it cannot be played on Macs,
or so it seems, which is why i posted my query in reply to the Adobe
employee, assuming he would know about an issue created when an Adobe
product feature is being evoked.

Dear smithow
let's take baby steps
#1 It's freezing because you need the latest version of Jave http://www.java.com/en/download/
#2 As a user, I'd recommend uninstalling the debug player and grabbing the normal version. You'll get better performance and these errors won't pop up on you. P.S. "Start from scatch" uninstall shockwave or any other Adobe plug-in or Adobe programs before you reninstall.
#3
Settings:
"left click" and under setting/display/-Enable hardware acceleration/Privacy/-deny/Local storage/-100KB/record volume/-somewhere in the middle works/Camera/-Not sure if you have one?
#4
Global Settings:
Click start/ control panel/ Flash Player Icon/Local Storage Settings/-Allow sites to save information on this computer/Camera and Mic/-Ask me when a site wants to use the camera or microphone (Recommended)/ Playback/-Ask me when a site want to use a peer-assisted networking/ Advanced/-Check for updates automatically (Recommended).
then re-boot and hopefully everything will work....I hope lol
Best Regards
RTremblay

But Chris just gave you a different download link; did you try that?
If yes, can you try to download the installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html ?

You need to be a little bit more specific what problem you have, and also what your system environment is.
Have you tried to download the installer from http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html ?

ŹÉb ɹÉuÉllıŹ thank for your suggestion, I have tried what you suggested, but it's doesn't work, I can't access video streaming, youtube, or something else which need an adobe flash. It's means I need to upgrade.
I have followed the instruction as discribed @ http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/download/?installer=Flash_Player_10.3_for_Windows_-_Other_Browsers&d=Google_Chrome_12.0&os=Vista&browser=Firefox,
in the middle process, the installation is stopped and appear "cannot contac reliable source" and then I clik finish, so automatically appear :
- sytem environment : Window Vista.
thank for your attention.
