New Edge version 79.0.309.71 (official build) (64 bit) cannot run swf file

Since the new Edge is Chromium-based it uses the Flash Player PPAPI plugin, not the Flash Player ActiveX Control Microsoft embeds in IE & legacy Edge.  Using the new Edge browser go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer to download and install Flash Player PPAPI plugin.

Microsoft embeds Flash Player PPAPI plugin in the new Chromium-based Edge.  There is no need to install it manually (for SWF content that is properly wrapped in HTML).  Like in legacy Edge, and Google with Chrome, Microsoft does block/disable Flash Player in Chromium-Edge.  You'll need to go to edge://settings/content/flash and toggle the Ask before running Flash (recommended turned off) from off > on:

The new Edge browser is based on Chromium, which is a different technology from the legacy Edge browser.

The content you are attempting to view is a SWF file.  Chromium-based browsers do not play SWF file, it has to be wrapped in HTML for Chromium-based browsers to play the content.  This is a browser feature/limitation and nothing to do with Flash Player itself.  You'll need to use a different (non-Chromium browser) to view SWF files in the browser.

I used the previous Edge Legacy version and could successfully run swf Flash file.

The new version 79.0.309.71 (official build) (64 bit)  cannot.

I had set "Flash Allow" but when I click on the link the swf file will be downloaded instead of running!

More over I do not see any more Settings => advanced in the new Edge.

So how could I run those file?

My site is plenty of old Flash swf games and I can use them only using Firefox (version 72.0.2 64 bit)
