Permission issues during install of flashplayer

How do I get permission issues satisfied during install of flashplayer on Windows 7?

Hi vectordr,

To further investigate this issue, can you please provide us the following files

A screenshot of the installer dialog with the error (see How to post a screenshot in the forum)
Create an empty text file named ADM.trace inside your %temp% directory. The file extension itself is .trace, not .txt or anything else.
To create the empty text file, navigate to the %temp% directory, right-click in an empty area and select New > Text Document
Rename the new file to ADM.trace
Note: make sure file extensions are visible so that the extension is .trace and not .txt. See Show or hide file name extensions - Windows Help
Run the online installer (from https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer )again until the error is returned.
Two files, Adobe_ADM.log and Adobe_GDE.log will be generated at C:\Users\<YourUserID>\AppData\Local\Temp\Adobe_ADMLogs
Upload the files using the How to share a document instructions
Post URL to the uploaded log files

Thank you for the reply Eswar. What is the ADM.trace file created for?

Yes. They are from same pc. I don’t recall Admin permission asking for id, just password.

Can you try using the offline installer posted at the bottom of the Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows page in the 'Still having problems section'.

If you are not an Admin user, please do the following:

Right-click on the file name and select 'Run as Administrator'
A User Account Control window will display, enter the password for the Admin user
If the Admin password is correct, the installer dialog window will display. Proceed with installation.
