"An error occurred, please try again later". Youtube with IE
We are experiencing the above problem with one of our clients using IE10 or IE11 to access YouTube.
All machines have the exact same hardware & software build. The original fix was to use the HTML5 Player for YouTube, but this is no longer working and YouTube defaults to Flash Player.
The current fix is to use Firefox with HTML5 player, but we'd really like to get this resolved for IE. If the Flash Plugin is disabled it will default to HTML5, but users then have problems accessing other sites like BBC iPlayer.
We've changed all sorts of settings, but still experience the same problem. Has anyone else encountered this problem and been able to resolve the issue?
The following changes have been made:
> Uninstalled flash with clean-up tool
> Installed latest Flash version 13.0.0.182
> Installed latest graphic card drivers
> New user and new profile (with no group policies applied)
> Disabled hardware acceleration IE Flash settings
> Used software rendering instead of GPU rendering
> Active X filtering is disabled
> Tracking is switched off
> Accepted all 3rd party cookies
No other issues with Internet, so the issue is linked to Flash on IE accessing YouTube.
Any help would be appreciated.
