Unable to play Adobe TV on my new Windows 7 PC with Google Chrome

I'm unable to play Adobe TV training tutorials on my new HP Desktop PC c/w/ Windows 7 and Google Chrome. I've tried Firefox and Opera with the same effect. Note that U-Tube etc. are fine. I get the main screen with just a black area where the video should play but with no 'play', 'pause' options.

Any ideas - the on-lin support folk could offer no suggestions. The Adobe reader is V11.1.102.63

Ah! Figured it out! Right-Click on where the video is supposed to be, and go to "global settings". Make sure that under "Storage" that "Allow sites to save information on this computer" is checked. That worked for me!

Can you clarify what "unable" means - what exactly do you see instead of the video?

Can you give an example URL where this happens?

Can you see e.g. this video http://tv.adobe.com/watch/adc-presents/introducing-flash-player-112/ ?

Hi Pat – Ref the link you sent - The screen ‘loads’ OK and looks very like You-Tube with a black screen surrounded by perfectly legible text etc. – the only thing missing is any ‘play’, ‘pause’ etc. ‘buttons’ thus the video (and sound) will not play. Other colleagues of mine have tried the same on their PCs and get the same problem - -

I have the same problem. Adobe TV including the link provided above do not play the video. In place of where the video would be is just a black rectangle. I checked my plugins and Shockwave Flash is enabled.

    Windows 7 Pro SP1

    Firefox 11.0

    works OK in IE9
