Adobe stopped all development of Flash for Android devices in 2012.

I am aware of this.

But I have seen at several places that some versions of Flash Player for Android 4, which are archived on the Adobe.com site, would work with the version of Android I have (4.2.1) and I wanted to know the answer from the horse's mouth.
