and why do they stay in a folder??

Are these dangerous and can  they contain virus?

I thought I did a clean install ogf the latest adobe flash player, but there are items in this cased folder. maybe I did not do a clean install? If so can I just delete these files? Would there be negative consequences by deleting them?

What is your operating system, version & edition?

Where do you find these files?

.heu files are Flash Player cache metadata files.  .swz is a signed Flash Player library file.  Both should be safe, but it can never hurt to run a virus scan on them.

Moderators, can you move this to the installing flash player forum? this new format confused me and I would like my question in the installing forum. I don't want to double post. Thanks
