When I save file as PDF the image background changed automatically from grey to white in Adobe Frame Maker Document. Please suggest me how to resolve it.
Hi Amit
You are using a 30+ year old format for the logo: Windows Metafile (WMF) is an image file format originally designed for Microsoft Windows in the 1990s.
Logos should be designed in Illustrator. When you import an .ai file (not copy/paste) you will see a white background in FrameMaker (because FrameMaker is also 30+ years old), but it will not appear in the PDF or in print.

Let's start with the basics - FM version, Structured/Unstructured FM.
Next, is it the image in the PDF that's changed or in the FM doc? Your wording is unclear.

What image file format is the image?
Is the background in the image itself, on a layer below it on the FM page, or on the master page?

It's in PNG, background is in below layer on the fm page. Body page not master page, pls see the screenshot.

FM version?
Older FMs did not support transparency in raster images (other than clipping paths on EPS, and even that was gnarly).

What page element is providing the gray background?
It looks like it could be a graphics frame, anchored frame or table cell.
Knowing that, some experiments could be run.
PDF and/or Publish properties for Images might need a peek. For example, if the PNG is getting downsampled, using JPEG compression, the transparency could get lost that way.

then how could I save the DOC with transparent image (the color of the page)?

re: ā¦(the color of the page)
Pages, per se, don't have color in FM.
That's why I asked where it was being defined.
But regardless of where defined, if the output workflow is modifying graphics, all bets are off.
