Fresco 5.7.0 CRITICAL FREEZE/CRASH on "Create New Document" - RTX 4050 (Win 11)

Oct 02, 2025 Oct 02, 2025

I'm experiencing a persistent CRITICAL FREEZE/CRASH issue with Adobe Fresco (v5.7.0) on Windows 11. The app freezes/crashes at the "Loading Documents" screen or when attempting to open the "Create New Document" panel.

System Details:
* GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4050 Laptop GPU
* Current Driver: Studio Driver 537.58 (Confirmed installed via Clean Install).

EXTENSIVE TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS TAKEN:
1. Switched Windows user profile.
2. Reset Creative Cloud.
3. Disabled Hyper-V/Windows Hypervisor.
4. Tested Fresco 5.7.0 and 5.5.5.
5. Downgraded GPU Driver from 581.29 to the stable 537.58.

6. Creative Cloud Reset:Performed the Control + Alt + R reset on the Creative Cloud Desktop application.

7. App Repair/Reset: Performed both Repair and Reset actions via Fresco's Settings.

8. ntel Graphics: Updated the Intel Integrated Graphics Driver to the latest version (Crucial for Optimus laptops).

9. NVIDIA Power Settings:Set Power Management Mode to *Prefer maximum performance" in NVIDIA Control Panel.

10.Windows Graphics Settings: Manually set Adobe Fresco to "High performance" in Windows Graphics settings (to force RTX 4050 usage)

11. Adobe Clean Uninstall: Used the Adobe Creative Cloud Cleaner Tool to thoroughly remove and reinstall Fresco and Creative Cloud.

The issue is NOT resolved. I have confirmed the correct stable driver is in use. Please advise on the exact location of the crash log file on Windows 11 so I can upload it for analysis, or provide a specific fix for this hardware configuration. Thank you.
