Fresco

I’m using an iPad Pro 4th Gen and the Timelapse Export is causing the app to crash 100% of the time. It doesn’t change anything when I try and switch the resolution export settings, duplicate file, try any file at all (even a new one for tests sake), I’ve tried restarting etc - been at this for hours now. For context, it was working, but doing that thing where it exports the files in a tiny box (formatting issues, but I could fix that video myself in an editor) so I update Fresco to the latest version to fix this but now it just crashes my app.  Also I have more than enough storage (over 100gb) and I have tried exporting to my google drive, files, anywhere else but the second I hit export the app just crashes. Please help, I really need those exports - workarounds are welcome if fixes are not possible! Thank you!

Hi all,it's impossible for me to report a bug in my country, the whole report side is not working so I'm hoping someone from Adobe sees this. When exporting Fresco files that have vector layers into Photoshop, resizing the image or scaling it distorts the proportions in random ways. I have to manually go into every vector layer and fix this. See my video attached for an example.  I can make the layers pixel layers, that usually solves the problem but defeats the purpose of the vector layers. 

I have an issue with the fonts in Adobe Fresco. I used this app in my ipad.The font type changes every time I reopens it after saving the file. Those fonts are very basic ones, such as Gill Sans, Futura etc. They somehow changes them to Helvetica or from Bold to Italic… I thought it might be due to free plan, so I subscribed to monthly plan to use premium fonts (though I don’t believe those super common fonts are premium fonts). Restarted my ipad, and tried again, but the same thing happened again and again. Paying for the subscription didn’t help, and this is very frustrating for me…Does anyone encountered similar issues and knows how to resolve it? Much Thanks!

I’m trying to use grungey inker but it’s only appearing on about five pixels of a multiple inch image. Doesn’t matter what brush color or size, I can’t get a single line to appear - just a few pixels. It’s happening with multiple other brushes and changing stylus pressure has had no effect at all. I’ve restarted the app and reconnected the pencil multiple times. How do I fix this?

I’ve tried updating everything on windows and fresco. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both the current and previous version of the software. I’ve tried many other suggestions to no avail.

Hi, I’m looking to start experimenting and drawing in Procreate or Fresco. I have no money to buy subscriptions or purchase cloud space if things get full up. Can I use Fresco and save the working files on the iPad? I’m aware I can save up to the cloud for the 5gb amount, but I plan to use up the space quickly but cant afford to pay for the cloud increase. How easy is it to save somewhere else. lister

Hi! I’m really sad because I’ve been working hard on a project and partway through I turned on a watercolor live brush and then the app glitched (everything froze while the layers flickered a bit). I (thought I) saved it then quit the app, only to find that when I opened it again everything I had done for the last two hours was gone. But the layers were still there, just empty. It seems others have had a similar issue and it hasn’t been fixed in years. https://www.facebook.com/groups/adobefresco/posts/1762455271122847/ I tried quitting and reopening, looking at version history (the versions from the last two hours are blank), and deleting and reinstalling the app.  please help and fix this bug! I want my hard work back :(

Is there a way to access my files in a creative cloud project in the fresco iPad app? I enjoy using projects to organise my files, and I recently moved some files from general cloud storage to different projects. This resulted in those files no longer being available to work on in adobe fresco, since I can’t find a “Projects” tab like the one in the desktop version of Illustrator or Photoshop. I also can’t seem to move these files from the project back into the “Your files” storage, making them fully inaccessible in fresco.

I lost several layers I created for my short animation. I didn't delete them. It would be really helpful if it can be recovered as it was spanning several frames. I can see them in the Timelapse I created. I won't use the app if this is a recurring issue. iPad OS 18.5. iPad Pro 4th gen

So, recently, I’ve been working on this animation. I poured my heart and soul into it and was super proud of how it had turned out. After working on a part of it for around an hour or so, I had to stop working on it for some time because of classes and when I opened Adobe Fresco again, it stopped responding. I closed the app and reopened it and everything I’d done in that hour was gone. Not cleared layers. Just… completely gone. I’m shattered. I checked the version history and there was nothing, I restarted my laptop and there was nothing. Is there any way to get those frames back or are they gone for good?

Have been using Adobe Fresco on the iPad for years without a problem. Now experiencing problems moving and grouping layers. With the Layers Panel accessed, I usually tap and hold the layer I want to move and drag it to the desired position in the layer stack. Alternatively, to group, I hold the layer and drag it to the group or layer to be grouped with. This simple and fundamental function no longer works for me. Tapping and holding the layer highlights the layer I want to move but it won't move and just jumps back to it's starting position. Grouping doesn't work either. I have recently updated to iOS26 and wonder if there is an issue here. Is anyone else experiencing this? I have tried re-installing the app but this has made no difference. Frustrating as I can't complete any projects without this core function and will need to find an alternative in the meantime.

Account went from paid to free to new paid and now my files on my iPad are all gone.  I was working on a project, it was syncing and saving. I was asked to resign in and all my projects from 2022 till now are gone and dosnt show up anywhere. I’m hoping there is a way to recover locally synced / recently synced files that do not show up in creative cloud. I have followed all the steps with Adobe support on twitter and they suggested could look on the back end for recently synced fresco files as I was literally working on it all week and thought my files were saved locally. 

I have issues with “saving new brush “ it not showing the bar.

I've encountered some serious issues with Fresco freezing.  It normally happens when I am tool switching. Most of the time it's from a vector brush and trying to tap on Transform, Eraser, or the Type Tool. This error happens literally every time I want to tool switch. Fresco is basically unusable to me right now, which sucks as I'm a professional and this is my workflow. The only way around it is to swip up on my ipad, exit the program, and come back. Only then can I tool switch, and it's MOST of the time. Sometimes I have to close the program and reopen it in order to tool switch.     Example. I'll be using a vector round brush to draw, then I'll want to transform something, so I'll try to tap on the transform tool and can't. Everything on the screen is frozen, except: my ability to keep using that selected round brush tool I can long press to eyedrop change color I can move the cancvas I can't tap on other tools, I can't select layers. I have to exit the program

Recently switched from Procreate due to a hardware change and purchased full Adobe suite. I'm finding that even though Fresco is the closest competitor to Procreate, it seems to be lacking noticeably. One of my few nuances is the inability to create a uniform, clean blur or gradient via layer effects or something similar. Any workaround for this that doesn't include constantly exporting to multiple programs?    [Renamed by Mod]

I started using Fresco on my PC about two weeks ago for a project. At first, everything was working well, and I made a lot of progress using several downloaded brush packs from the Discover Brushes section, including the Mega Pack and Gouache set.Yesterday, when I opened the app to continue working, I realized that my downloaded brush packs had disappeared from my library. That was inconvenient, but I assumed I could simply download them again. Unfortunately, that has not worked. I spent hours trying to redownload them, and even left the packs “downloading” overnight, but nothing actually downloaded. On the Discover Brushes page, the packs just continuously say “adding in progress” with no change. Hi all. So all problems people are having here in terms of "performance" (which is only lag, not performace in the end) is a common problem with Photoshop as well and Windows Ink and Wacom tablets. With Photoshop you can just fix it with simple txt file placed into Photoshop folder that force system to think Ink is on but you than turn it off in Wacom Settings resulting in having no lags and all pressure sensitivity settings working in Photoshop. But here in Fresco is different case becuase I guess trick with txt file doesnt work (anyone knows where Fresco is installed on PC? I honestly can't find it since it's installed somewhere by Creative Cloud...), so Fresco is unusable on PC. Lags with Windows Ink are too big and without it it loses all pen features. Adobe try to make some fix please. Left side lines with Windows Ink on, lag before start making straight lines, on right without Windows Ink. Hi all, I feel like I'm going insane.I've just started trying to learn this new program, and I'm watching the adobe videos on the basics, but I can't seem to figure out where these 'Motion Presets' that are mentioned are. I've got the most recent Desktop Version, but when I click on the Path tool for motion, I don't get the top  bar of presets I see in the tutorial videos. Is there something I have turned off somewhere I can't find?  Thanks in advance. Screenshot attached.

Hello! I am running Adobe Fresco on an ASUS ProArt PX13 laptop (and drawing with an ASUS SA203H pen), and I have unfortunately been experiencing crashes very frequently 😞 I would estimate that the crashes occur every 5 to 10 minutes while using the software, and they become gradually more common as I relaunch the software multiple times in one sitting. I have not been able to find a consistent action that preceeds the crashes, but I think I have noticed it more frequently while zooming/rotating the canvas.  Fortunately, I typically only lose a few brush strokes worth of progress, as the canvas auto-saves, but this is still proving to be a huge hinderance to my work.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Fresco, reverting to an older version of Fresco, updating my graphics drivers, running my laptop on different performance modes, and restarting my laptop, but none of these seem to have any effect on the issue. Hi,    I started using Adobe Fresco, but everytime I open it I get a message saying that I need at least 3gb of space on my iPad to be able to use it. I have more than 10 gb of free space so I don't really understand. I tried deleting a few things, restarting my iPad, re-downloading the app and I managed to make it work a few times, but I mostly just can't use it.    I like using the app when I manage to make it work, so any advice would be welcomed 🙂    Thank you,    Isabelle   14/02/20 Update Many months after I still have this problem. The issue went away for a while and it recently came back. The only way to fix it is to re-install the app and the last time I did that I lost a project I had worked on that I now have to re-do.
