Hi, trying to layer, but images are not opaque. How to make that happen?

Hi Ruth.

I'm sorry, I'm not understanding your question. Are you trying to fill a layer with opaque color? Or something else?

Any additional details you can give me will be helpful.

Sue.

IoSorry not clear. I'm illustrating a children's book. I want to use layers to use backgrounds with different characters. My character drawings are showing the background through them.

Hi Ruth.

Were your characters drawn with reduced opacity? Because otherwise, they should be opaque.

A screenshot would be really helpful.

Sue.
