I need help pls

Hi, I am working in Adobe Fresco and i have a problem. I have a picture layer that i am going to remove when it is done. But i accidently painted on that layer. So when i hide the photo layer, the things i have painted hides too. Is there a way to move the things i have painted to another layer? I would be really glad if someone could help me!

You could use the selection tool then copy and paste to a new layer.

Did you turn your picture into a pixel layer? That's the only way I'm able to even add to a picture layer.

If it is left as a picture layer then you should normally have any other brush strokes creating their own new layers.
