Magic Wand tool:- Quickly select areas that are similar in tone and color.

Fresco 3.6 brings to you one of its most awaited features, the "Magic Wand" tool. You can now quickly select objects of similar color and tone by clicking on an area. The built-in intelligence in the magic wand tool uses the color information in the clicked area to select adjacent areas with similar color and tone. You can further refine or expand the scope of this selection using the Color margins control slider. 

 

After you have created your selection, you can modify it to meet your requirements. 

See the tutorial below to understand how you can quickly select and modify areas in your artwork using the Magic Wand selection tool in Fresco. 

 

1. Open your artwork in Fresco and select the Magic Wand selection tool.

2. Tap on the color area that you would like to select. The magic wand tool recognizes, and selects areas in the vicinity with a similar color.

3. Verify whether the desired area has been selected.

4.  To fine tune, or increase the scope of color selection for the Magic Wand tool, use the Color margins control slider.
